#60 AGATHCOLES/MAXIMUM TRASH

I never thought I would of had an AGX release under my belt in so short a time.
I consider the label to be very young still at a year. And in all seriousness it still doesn't seem like a HUGE thing to me. But lo and behold. A fuckin AGATHOCLES release

As posted in the facebook this first hit wax and the tape version soon followed. I was hit up by the band MAXIMUM TRASH about putting this split out on tape. I traded with Ricky TRASH before I put this out a few months prior. My stuff never came in but you know, whatever.

I was stoked to put this out on tape since AGx was a HUGE influence on me. The tunes on here are fucking great though. AGx really sounds like a powerviolence band. The first band that comes to mind is Lack Of Interest.

Great AGx Stuff.

The MAXIMUM TRASH stuff on the other hand is complete utter shit.
FUCK THEM.
In all honesty I can't bad mouth the whole band. Just OM SEA THRASH or RICKY TRASH or whatever the fuck his name is. He never even told Jan that he was gonna see if people would release this on tape.
So when I did message Jan about his royalty copies he was very surprised and wasn't even aware the a tape version was gonna be done.

As soon as the tape was done RIPOFF messaged me about free copies of the split.
I mentioned I hadn't received my end of our trade. He didn't respond. Another message later he sent me his address and that was all. Being how I am about getting people their stuff I sent him 5 copies.
This was a huge co-release with Operation Grindcore and Tombs In The Valley. Every label got like 13 copies and each band got 5.

LOTS of time passed and I still never received my part of the trade.
I sent TRASH multiple messages about it and even warned him that I would come out and make a claim that he was a ripoff if he didn't at the very least return a message of mine.

I asked around and got several confirmations that he had ripped off other bands and buddies
(Corrupt Humanity, To Die, Third Eye Grind)

And so I finally did post the dreaded RIPOFF warning for all to see.

All it took was a few clicks of the mouse and in ONE DAY little Ricky messaged me claiming that I should remove my ripoff comments. He said he had links and pictures to prove he sent stuff off. Bear in mind he has owed me shit since almost a year ago. So even if his stuff does get here it'll probably be one cd or something stupid that didn't follow the whole trade agreement.

I got word also from other people who were working with him that he would ask about me and try and get labels to get me to change my mind about calling him a ripoff.

In the end, I COULD GIVE NO FUCKS ON A FUCKING TRADE.
SO FUCKING WHAT IF I DON'T GET YOUR SHIT CD OR TAPE.
WHAT MATTERS IS RESPECT AND COMMUNICATION.
HE COULD HAVE EASILY CLAIMED IT WAS LOST OR STOLEN AND HELL I WOULD OF BELIEVED IT AND CHALKED ONE UP TO BAD LUCK.

The lack of respect this guy showed me but not talking to me is what finally set me off to post the ripoff warning. So Ricky, if you're reading this. FUCK YOU you disrespectful prick.

DON'T WORK WITH RICKY
DON'T TRADE WITH HIM
DON'T SPLIT WITH HIS BAND
HE WILL RIP YOU OFF

#59 Unholy Grave/Corrupt Humanity

Holy hell. I a just terrible with keeping up with the fucking blog. I had to shut the store down due to all the orders I've been getting along with all the projects I've taken up. I'm trying to finish them all up before I begin  work (tomorrow) so that I can focus on my job, school, sordo and my personal life. I recently asked my sweetheart to marry me and she said yes! <3 Very happy, but also super nervous on what the future holds in store for us :)

On to the release.

CORRUPT HUMANITY/UNHOLY GRAVE split 7''

This was the very first legit vinyl release that I ever had under my belt. I was soooooo stoked to see it come in and too see my logo along with all my buddies on their as well. And to be able to say that I helped put out another UG release was just a phenomenal feat for me.

It all started almost a year ago? My buddy David (<3) asked about helping out with a vinyl release that he was super excited about. He kept it a secret for a while who he was gonna split with but he ended up caving and telling me it was UG. Needless to say I jumped at the opportunity.

It was a long and agonizing wait but totally worth it when the vinyls came in.

The box housing the records was just pulverized.
It looked like a bunch of people we're playing football during a rainy muddy day and decided to use the box of records as a ball. Even though the box didn't fair up, the vinyl came pristine!
The covers were perfect and the plastic sleeves were the cleanest I had ever seen.

I took a bit of time just looking at all of them...felt exactly like this..

So many rad labels jumped on here.
Tombs In The Valley, Spider Baby, Kill Your Heros just to name a few.

I believe only 200 or 250 were made. No test presses, all black vinyl.
I still have a few left over so get in touch if you want one.
